FAQs
These are the things people most frequently want to know before they start. If your question isn't addressed here, please reach out with the contact form.

How long will I need therapy for?
This depends on many things. Some people consider therapy to be a necessary part of life, like exercise, which they commit to ongoingly, or have seasons of attendance when it feels important. Others have a more acute situation they want to explore for a defined period of time. Most people begin and continue until it feels like they are ready to stop. How long therapy goes on for is almost entirely down to you.
How much does it cost?
Sessions start at £60 for concessions - students, key workers, unemployed, single parents and low income. There are limited places for this rate. After that sessions are between £70 and £120, depending on your means. You will choose the price you pay within this bracket.
Are there things I can be doing to help speed up the process?
The word 'speed' might be a little misleading here. If you consider how long it has taken for your to get to the point where you are reaching out for therapy - possibly years - it might give you some perspective on how fast therapy ought to be. Having said that, there are cases where people have journeyed more quickly than others, and I have been curious about that. Of course, some people have such deep rooted, long held ways of being that they are unconscious of to begin with, and they can take time to rise to the surface. But, from my perspective, these are the things that might help us create a more conducive environment for movement: - Be willing to be honest with me - Consider writing some things down, or recording yourself talking about your experiences after the session, and in between sessions if you have capacity for that. - Be open to novel experiences. Einstein said, “No problem can be solved from the same level of consciousness that created it.” So you may need to move out of your comfort zone sometimes to expand your ways of being. - Learn meditation. We can help with that if you are new to it. There are many ways to do it too, and they aren't all about sitting still for hours contemplating the inside of your eyelids.
